Poor IFA questions could end Fos roadshows

The Financial Ombudsman Service may consider discontinuing its IFA roadshows in light of the poor standard of questions asked and the small numbers attending.

David Cresswell, press officer at the Fos, says the number of IFAs who attend the ombudsman’s roadshows is disappointing and those who do attend often ask antagonistic and unhelpful questions. He states: “The roadshows are there for IFAs to put any questions they want to a senior figure of the Fos.
