Cofunds figures highlight Cautious 2007

Advisers switched to a cautious investment approach as the markets took a turn during the middle of the year, new figures reveal.

Cofunds has released its 2007 sales figures to the end of November, showing Cautious Managed was the most popular sector, with 29.5% of sales. The Specialist sector, which includes Property, was next with 18.8%. It was the best seller for the first six months, but net sales were down to zero by the end of November. UK Equity Income, a perennially strong sector, followed with 15.2%. The Cofunds figures also showed the top three selling individual offerings were the Invesco Perpetual High Income, Invesco Perpetual Income and New Star International Property funds. “The changing pattern...
