Adverse market forces packagers association to shut

The Professional Mortgage Packagers Alliance (PMPA) has announced it will close, reflecting the deep turmoil affecting the packager market.

Helen Hymos, acting chair of the PMPA, confirmed the trade association will close from 30 September 2008 due to adverse market conditions. Those involved in the PMPA have decided to give up running the organisation to spend more time focusing on their main businesses.
