Standard Bank has appointed Rob McConnell as head of operational risk management to be based in the Bank's Jersey office.
McConnell joins Standard Bank from the Sydney offices of KPMG where he specialised in risk advisory services, analysing risk for a number of financial institutions within Australia and the Pacific region. Prior to that, he held a risk management position at Macquarie Bank, Sydney.
