France's Cofingest Finances is planning to launch an off-the-shelf fund of fund product by year's end that incorporates an allocation of about 30% to a fund of hedge funds (FoHF). The Paris manager has recently received agreement from France's regulator, AMF, to be allowed to manage mandates including alternative investments, as well as mutual funds, and François Soulard, Cofingest's fund manager, said the company would also offer four or five model portfolios - incorporating hedge funds and traditional investments - to its clients.
