Independent emerging markets and Japanese fund manager, BDT Invest, has made a 12% allocation to Japan in its global fund for the first time since launch. When the fund was launched in February, BDT was extremely bearish on Japan and the fund had no allocation there, but now Japanese specialist manager Simon Dobson, has 12% allocated of the portfolio to Japanese stocks. However, only 45% of the fund is invested in equities, with the rest in cash and treasuries.
