Shares in the FTSE 100 index have fallen again ahead of US markets opening, with the index down to 3,657 points. Royal & Sun Alliance is leading loser with a near 11% or 17p fall to 149p. Demand for paper cups, electricity and water is holding up relatively well, however, with Bunzl up 2.5p to 431.5p and United Utilities up 1.5p to 569p.
