Standard Life Healthcare has widened its range of health insurance products with the launch of a cash plan. The Health Cash Plan provides tax-free cash sums to cover 24 health benefits with premiums starting at the equivalent of £2.73 a week. Subscribers can receive up to £7,500 per year for in-patient hospital stays, cash sums to help with recuperation or home convalescence and home help or treatment of psychiatric conditions.
