Self-select equity Isa holders can hold what appears to be? a maxi cash Isa, leaving part or all of their subscription in cash without a specified investment deadline, according to Inland Revenue regulations. This capacity allows investors to put money into stocks only when they feel comfortable doing so, while still taking advantage of Isa tax breaks. Provided the Isa holder intends to invest in shares and securities, there is no official Revenue deadline by which they must do so or limit on the proportion of the fund that may be held in cash.
