Telecommunication companies again feature strongly in the national business news this morning. British Telecommunications confirmed it was to sell its UK property portfolio for £2.3bn ($3.1bn), six months ahead of schedule, says FT. BT said it had entered into legal agreement to sell the portfolio to Telereal Holdings Ltd - a joint venture between property groups Land Securities Trillium and the William Pears Group.
