With shared frustrations about financial advice operations at bigger firms, James Freshney and Jack Silk set up their own firm Sherpa Family Wealth.

Advisers James Freshney and Jack Silk met when they both worked together at a wealth management business. "We worked together for a number of years moving through the administration departments," Freshney told Professional Adviser. "As we both passed our exams and graduated into advice, we went through that journey together."
