In this week's Advice Lens, Rabbets said finding a role is the main barrier to entry for potential young advisers and paraplanners. "Where do they go if there is no opportunity for them," she said. "Not every firm is able to bring in graduates and new people." Both Colfer and Rabbets also highlighted that there are many roles available in the advice profession - not just a financial adviser - including compliance and paraplanning.
