Mike Rogers, Barclays' current managing director of UK retail banking, has today been named to take over as group chief executive at Liverpool Victoria.
Rogers will step into the ceo role from May 15th, which is currently held by Liverpool Victoria’s chairman and acting chief executive John Woolhouse.
The slot became vacant in November 2005, when Malcolm Berryman stepped down and Woolhouse became acting ceo, without explanation to LivVic members.
Aged just 41, Rogers has worked at Barclays Bank in the retail, business banking and wealth management sectors for 19 years.IFAonline
