In this week’s episode of The Pro Adviser Podcast, in association with Architas, Hannah Godfrey talks to David MacDonald, a former SJP adviser who has set up a new advice firm for those who want to use their money for environmental good.
MacDonald decided to set up The Path after more than a decade at advice behemoth St James's Place. He had been spending time learning about the impact of climate change, and wanted to offer an option to those looking for advice and seeking to make a positive impact on the environment with their money.
Though the business is still young MacDonald says he has received a "steady trickle of enquiries" from people all over the UK, and has worked with a variety of individuals, including those involved with the likes of global climate protest group Extinction Rebellion.
He is now looking to take on more advisers across the country to enable The Path to better serve those living across the length and breadth of the UK.
