Para-Sols director and Chartered financial planner Cathi Harrison sat down with Hannah Godfrey to discuss the evolution of the Para-Sols graduate scheme, from two internships to a full-blown programme that can take a rookie through to Chartered status

A struggle to find paraplanners for her outsourcing business led Cathi Harrison (pictured above) to rethink her business model - a decision that saw her employee numbers double in just two years. "We used to struggle quite a lot to take on paraplanners," explains Harrison, "We used to struggle just to find them; the office is in Darlington, and there aren't many paraplanners in the North East - it was just impossible."
