Following the popularity of our specimen questions from paper one (financial services and their regulation) of the Financial Planning Certificate (FPC), circa September 1994, we delved into the archives once more to put together these questions from paper two (protection, savings and investment products). Whereas the first paper dealt with FIMBRA, 'best advice' and company representatives, these questions tackle clients' need for protection insurance, the suitability (or not) of unit trusts and consumers' eligibility for mortgages.
