Cash in SIPPs Investors looking for the safety of cash in their SIPPs appear to be missing out on the best rates, the Financial Times reported over the weekend. It compared the best rates available in the ‘no-notice' SIPP accounts and the open market accounts and found a significant gap. The paper also explained how may SIPP providers were skimming some of the interest, providing themselves with some useful income, although the FSA appears to be clamping down on this.
