In this series we have looked at group income protection (GIP) and group life assurance (GLA), and so in this third and final article we turn our attention to group critical illness (GCI). This is perhaps the most exciting product, as even in the last four years of indifferent market performance, the GCI product has had positive market growth and, in 2011, showed an impressive 9% increase in premiums.
