To what extent are IFAs opening up to the use of structured investments in client portfolios? When knowledgeably and objectively considered, it is clear that ‘best of breed’ structured investments add value within diversified portfolios – and, therefore, are increasingly embraced by progressive, client-centric advisers. Investing with pre-defined levels of risk and return is an attractive alternative and/or complement to investing in ‘traditional’ long only active or passive funds, not least as structured investments can ‘bend or break’ the linear relationship between risk and return. ...
