In a world where the trend appears to be ‘the bigger, the better', how can the smaller advisory firm stand out from the crowd?

Size matters. Controversial but true. And, at the moment (if you read the media at least), it would appear it is a case of the bigger the better. Larger institutions are described as more “secure” and “stable” and the rate of consolidation in the financial services sector has picked up pace in recent months.
