Welcome to the latest edition of PA’s Deal Dive, your monthly advice merger and acquisition (M&A) round-up. We dig into deal trends and drivers in this regular series.

April presents an enlightening month for tracking M&A, as this is when some frequent buyers share information on deals by quarter. The latest Deal Dive is, then, a little different as we wrap up some buys that will not have been included in previous editions. Despite a flurry of announcements, activity appears to have cooled somewhat into April's Easter season and new tax year after a Q1 boom. Of course, this does not factor in deals not yet announced and does not factor in undisclosed deal dates, with a clearer picture expected to emerge for the month at the end of Q2. Who's buying? ...
