St James's Place (SJP) has agreed a deal to acquire stockbroker and discretionary investment manager Rowan Dartington Holdings in a deal worth up to £34m.

Bristol based discretionary investment firm, R C Brown Investment Management (RCBIM) has recruited the team that managed the ‘Signature' investment proposition for Rowan Dartington.

Rowan Dartington has restructured its senior team, resulting in Tim Cockerill taking over as investment director and Guy Stephens as managing director of the Signature division.
