Having been battered and bruised by a strong US dollar in recent years, things are starting to look a little rosier for Asian markets, writes Darius McDermott.

Talk of lower rates and a weaker dollar in the US have begun to aid a region we are currently overweight to within our managed funds, as valuations still look attractive - particularly when you compare them with the US. However - and no doubt this has already crossed your mind - this whole argument is subject to the caveat that trade wars do not escalate any further.
