Fundsmith hires IFA sales director

Fund management company Fundsmith has appointed Scott Chivers as its sales director to IFAs.

Chivers, who was a business development manager at previous firm Franklin Templeton Investments, will be responsible for marketing to IFAs. Prior to Franklin Templeton, the sales director (pictured) worked in investment sales at M&G Investments and International Financial Data Services. Fundsmith founder and chief executive Terry Smith said: "We are pleased to welcome Scott to Fundsmith to focus on the fast growing number of IFAs who have chosen Fundsmith for their clients' investments.
