Bruno Schroder passes away aged 86

Schroders has announced director Bruno Schroder died yesterday at the age of 86.

The great-great-grandson of John Henry Schroder, co-founder the Schroders business in 1804, Schroder served as director of firm for over 50 years starting in 1963. He began his career at J. Henry Schroder, where he spent several years in the internal audit division, commercial banking and in corporate finance. Michael Dobson, chairman of Schroders, said: "Bruno made an enormous contribution to Schroders over more than 50 years.
