M&G CEO Richards named new chair of FCA practitioner panel

M&G chief executive Anne Richards has been named as the new chair of the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) practitioner panel.

Richards, who has been a member of the panel since 2013, will succeed HSBC chief executive António Simõep, FCA chairman John Griffith-Jones has announced. Richards has been at the helm of Prudential-owned investment manager M&G since June 2016. Prior to joining Prudential she was chief investment officer and head of the EMEA region for Aberdeen Asset Management, positions she held until February 2016.  The FCA board also appointed Euroclear UK chief executive John Trundle as new chair of the markets practitioner panel, taking over from Goldman Sachs senior compliance adviser Robert Ma...
