The advisers I speak to are brilliant at proving what clients can afford to spend. But convincing them to enjoy the money they've taken a lifetime to build is more difficult. We've found that there's a permission problem. Wealthtime's new research, Permission to Spend, shows one in three retirees have missed out on an experience or opportunity because they waited too long to feel financially comfortable.
