It’s been yet another busy year for Professional Adviser and advice.

Those of you who read my editor's view columns and attend our events will regularly hear me bang on about the value of the profession, but this year has served up plenty of lessons on its growing importance. I remember starting in this role back in July 2024. At initial meetings, people were keen to underscore just how far advice has come from its "sales-heavy" roots of years past.
