There's no doubt that the new chancellor's inbox will be full. And while she might not have been handed the notorious "there's no money left" note, the reality is not far off. Rachel Reeves has already acknowledged that the Treasury kitty is looking pretty empty, with the knock-on effect that it could hamper what the government is able to do.
