As advisers hunker down to focus on client accounts ahead of tax year-end, Keith Churchouse asks - what are you doing for your own business year end?

I understand that if you turn the engines off on a supertanker in the sea, it may take a few kilometres, and quite some time, for the ship to come to a halt. Because of the huge momentum that they maintain, the captain would normally switch off the engines around 25 kilometres away from dock and the craft is then assisted in with tugboats where needed.
