So, the good people at Professional Adviser sent me my Personality of the Year award in the post this week for the bits and bobs I do for mental health in the sector. Something that is still (1) a bit weird but lovely and (2) proof that the rest of the sector needs to up its game! Truth is, though, while it's all nice and serendipitous that this happened in #mentalhealthawarenessweek of all weeks, all those hashtags and slogans are making me a bit grumpy.
