The time is upon us when marketing departments request year-end round ups and outlooks for the year ahead. The reviews of the year are the easy part, a roundup of what happened in economies, maybe a note on political events or other notable features and an analysis of what happened in financial markets. There is always a word count and, whatever that may be, it will not be enough to cover the story of 2020.
