There has been a lot of chatter about the word ‘value' in 2019 and that is not going to go away in 2020.  In particular, the mantra ‘my clients determine value' resonates around the advice profession, despite clear evidence that many customers haven't a clue what defines expensive or cheap in terms of fees and charges where financial services are concerned.  I suspect some are not even sure what services are being provided in return for those costs.
