Investors continue to shun the UK in favour of other developed markets, as the prospect of a ‘no deal' Brexit grows by the day. Figures from the Investment Association confirm this trend - there were 15 consecutive months of outflows from UK equity funds between April 2017 and August 2018, with a total of £6.5bn withdrawn over this period.
