A couple of years ago, my colleagues and I began to notice an increasing awareness of investment trusts among the average retail investor. But what began as the odd query here and there has snowballed. Post-RDR, sales of investment trusts have grown rapidly. Assets under management are up 57% in just three and a half years, according to the Association of Investment Companies.
