The retirement planning landscape has changed beyond recognition in recent times. Readers with long memories will recall that, many years ago, taxpayers always used to consult accountants or lawyers when in search of tax advice - many of a certain generation still do. At the same time, GP-style IFAs have always outlined the nuts and bolts of the tax breaks invariably integral to the financial products which they sold/placed with clients.
