Aviva has just announced the next stage of its platform evolution. Having re-entered the wrap market in 2010 after its troubled experience with the Lifetime Wrap (which closed to business after numerous technical issues), it is now combining its wrap offering and its traditional packaged products into a single platform. The move is not a surprise and indeed not unique. Other product provider-owned wraps are making similar moves. Both Standard Life and Aegon have announced similar intentions to give advisers a single point to visit and trade electronically and administer client portfolios...
