At the time of my leader going to press last week, the RDR debate was yet to come.
In truth, the actual debate (if you could call it that) was a lot more heated than I was expecting and the two and a half hours passed relatively quickly. I think I was struck by the huge number of advisers who had written to their MP about this issue and had managed to get their representatives really enthused about the possible repercussions of the RDR for communities of advisers as well as consumers.
