Today's comments by the FSCS that it can compensate investors in Keydata plans backed by Lifemark will be welcome news for the 23,000 people who have been on tenterhooks for months awaiting the decision. However, although some may think the campaign is over, there are still major questions to be resolved. The first question is: how much will these investors actually get back? The answer will not be known until at least the end of October and is still dependent on how much value there is left in the Luxembourg-based Lifemark SA vehicle.
