Just as I was thinking the most exciting news of the week was my three month old rolling over, the flashing light on my BlackBerry yesterday alerted me to the departure of Cofunds' CEO Brett Williams.
Big news indeed, and after a relatively short tenure. Surprising news too. No-one I know saw this coming and it remains a bit of a mystery. The press releases issued by big companies about such events are always extremely antiseptic and never tell the true story; neither is it for me to speculate here. I do note however that Charlie Eppinger, former CEO and Chairman (now acting CEO again and clearly supremely well qualified to steer the ship) says that he wants to "accelerate the growth" of the platform.
