Eastern Europe has witnessed momentous changes since the fall of the Berlin Wall 20 years ago, according to Jupiter's Elena Shaftan.

Since this historic event, the lives of people in the former Communist Bloc have changed beyond recognition – changes that have increasingly attracted the attention of investors since regional stock exchanges opened in the 1990s.
