Sending a Cable on financial advisers

In response to the Which? research on financial advice - Which? points finger at adviser failings - and comments by LibDems treasury spokesman, Chris Marsham of C&M Financial Services in Newton Abbot, says:

I have never had the time to comment on IFAonline articles before but don’t you just see red at comments of the likes of Vince Cable. How dare he tar all financial advisers with the same damning brush. It really makes my blood boil. It does not surprise me that ‘tied’ agents once again come out poorly but it is disappointing to see that IFAs only feared slightly better. There are good IFAs around who do not see pound signs when a new prospect walks through the door. I am one of them. It matters not if one is paid commission or by way of fee.
