The Succession Alliance, a taskforce of independent professional body the Consumer Duty Alliance, has launched the first profession-wide survey to explore succession planning across financial advice firms in the UK.
With a significant number of financial advice firms expected to change hands within the next five years, the taskforce said it is seeking views from people in all roles working in financial planning firms, including business owners, leaders, advisers, paraplanners, administrators and compliance professionals. The nationwide survey is designed to build the "most comprehensive picture yet of succession planning in the financial advice sector", according to the taskforce.
