Royal London has launched an estate and inheritance planning framework for advisers ahead of significant changes to inheritance tax and personal representative rules in April 2027.
The provider said the framework was established to help advisers identify clients who may be affected by the IHT on pension reforms. It will also enable advisers to take a "more a more structured approach to family wealth and estate planning". Most unused pension funds and pension death benefits will fall within the scope of IHT from April next year.
