Quilter has partnered with Plain Numbers, a communications specialist focused on helping organisations make numbers easier for customers to understand.

The Plain Numbers Method is said to be an  "evidence-based, extensively tested" approach that can be applied across a range of customer communications. It focuses on presenting numbers clearly and putting them in an understandable context, using insights from behavioural science to better support those with low numeracy and dyscalculia. Independent testing of the Plain Numbers Method has shown it can significantly improve customer understanding of numerical information, in some cases doubling comprehension rates, Quilter said.
