Confidence among advisers is “extremely high” with firms reporting increased client numbers and active expansion plans, according to latest Dynamic Planner research.

The firm's Advice 2026 report, which surveyed 700 advice professionals across the UK in the first quarter of the year, found 96% would recommend their own career paths, up 4% on last year. It said sentiment was "overwhelmingly positive" and the research found "a thriving industry that has more growth and optimism about the future than last year". The year's study found 85% of advisers had increased client numbers last year, up from 72% in the 2025 survey, and 91% expected to increase their client base over the next 12 months.
