Former FSCS CEO joins Paradigm Norton after 'detailed governance review'

NED appointed after executive and board responsibilities split

Former Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) CEO Caroline Rainbird has joined Paradigm Norton Financial Planning (Paradigm Norton) as a non-executive director (NED), following a “detailed governance review” at the B Corp firm.

Rainbird led the FSCS for four and a half years, including during the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior to joining the FSCS, she led global corporate services at RBS in the post-financial crisis period, going on to lead global regulatory and public affairs. Rainbird currently holds a number of NED roles, including serving on the NatWest Group Pension Fund trustee board, the Standard Life Group with-profits committee and the board of Modulr Financial Services.
