FSCS declares Sheffield wealth firm failed over pensions advice

British Steel-related claims made against Green Wealth Management

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has declared Green Wealth Management in default over pensions advice, with several claims related to British Steel advice.

The lifeboat fund confirmed to PA that the Sheffield-based firm was declared in default by the FSCS yesterday (3 March), when the first claim was upheld. So far there have been eight claims in total relating to pension advice. The FSCS confirmed that several of the claims are British Steel Pension Scheme related. "This firm is no longer trading, so you may be able to make a claim against it," the FSCS' notice stated.
