CII leads tributes to Brian Caruth after sudden death

‘Decades of dedicated service to our professions’

Brian Caruth, a well-known and respected financial services professional based in Northern Ireland, died suddenly on 31 December.

Caruth, also known as ‘Cookie', was a partner in Andrews Insurances (Life & Pensions) and heavily involved with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and The Insurance Institute of Northern Ireland (TIINI). Posting on LinkedIn, the CII said: "We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Brian Caruth last week. "Brian gave decades of dedicated service to our professions, particularly through his unwavering commitment to local institutes and to TIINI, where he served as a council member for over 30 years and as president in 2018/19.
