Financial advice artificial intelligence (AI) start-up firm Avenir will be winding down its operations.

Avenir's closure was confirmed in a LinkedIn post today (23 December) by co-founder Andrea MacDonald. She wrote: "After nearly three years of building, growing and learning, we've made the difficult decision to wind down Avenir's operations and take a different path. "It's been an incredible ride, full of learning, late nights, unexpected challenges, and moments of pure joy." Avenir was founded nearly three years ago by MacDonald, Jeremy Bensoussan and Stefan Rotarus.
